Jerval graduated from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University with a Bachelor's degree in psychology in 2005. After receiving her Bachelor's degree, Jerval continued her education and graduated with a Master's degree in Educational Psychology in 2010. Years later, upon reentering the workforce after taking time off to be a stay at home mom, Jerval entered into the field of Applied Behavior Analysis working with children from 18 months to 22 years old with autism by accident. After submitting an application to be a receptionist, her education and experience propelled her into working with children on the autism spectrum as a registered behavior technician. Instantly, she fell in love with the science, field, and practice of Applied Behavior Analysis and the children and families she was given the opportunity to serve. This love prompted Jerval to continue her education and experience to become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Jerval has served as a one on one provider, program coordinator, and consultant in homes, schools, and clinics. These roles have allowed Jerval to gain the training and experience to work with individuals of varying cognitive and developmental levels as well as with a variety of comorbidities.
